Phillewis Driving School

I have been a manual driving instructor since 2008 and have helped 100’s of pupils pass their tests with the emphasis is on safe driving. I have achieved Btec 4 in coaching for driver development and cover all areas of Wirral and work my lessons around you. I do pay weekly lessons and offer block bookings which are discounted and also motorway tuition.
I give you a progress log so we are both aware of what we have covered and what needs to be strengthened.
I believe learning to drive is a journey and making mistakes is part of the process, without mistakes we don’t learn or move forward.
As long as we know why it happened we can fix it.
I use coaching to teach you and actively encourage your involvement to work out between us any issues we encounter enabling you to have a better understanding of the lessons making you a thinking driver rather than follow my instructions.

I started driving with Phil in January after practically never driving before, I quickly passed my theory first time, and after being an incredibly nervous driver passed my practical driving test first time too only 5 months after starting my lessons!

Cannot recommend enough, top instructor 100%!

Phill is a great instructor and had good knowledge of the test conditions. I had an opportunity to learn from him and I passed my test in my first attempt with only 4 minors. He’s dedicated and punctual.

Phil is a great driving instructor! He was always on time and made it easy to plan lessons. His calm attitude made me feel less nervous, and his car was nice to drive.
